So What

I believe that the so what to this picture is how religion can run an army. The artist has a Huge army oh people and they look ready to fight wearing army and holding weapons. With a nun infront of them all. The nun has her hands in the air with a cross. She's holding her hands out and holding a cross in the air like she's guiding this army with the cross in her hand as a Man watches from behind her almost as to protect her from the arming she's leading. The what is of this image is how religion causes people to fight for what they want

Ted Talk Reflection

The Ted talk I watched was about the happiness advantage and how happiness is not the result of success but is the cause of success. Most people are convinced that you work harder you will be successful and the more successful the happier you are. But if that was the cause than happiness would never come people change their goals and will never obtain the happiness they are seeking. I know when I am at work I’m always looking to do better. I am never happy with the amount of work I’ve no matter how much everyone complements me and tells me I’m doing great. I guess it’s something that society has imprinted in our brains. I see what he means when he talks about our brains working better when we are happy. I notice that when I’m in a really good mood at work or with friends I perform better when I’m cooking at work I make less mistakes I get my job done faster and I have a good time doing it. I feel like he made a lot of good points about how happiness improves your work and could really help if people took this into consideration helping individuals and our society as a whole. I’m going to keep this in consideration when I’m working and all around life.Shawn Achor - "The Happiness Advantage"
